Railspur No. 2 White is our single pot triple-distilled unaged grain spirit (aka white “whiskey”) made from 100% BC organic barley with an infusion of Chilliwack River Valley Wildflower Honey. Most white “whiskey” (white lightning, moonshine, white dog) use a base of corn or sugar resulting in a ‘rough’ tasting spirit. The Liberty Distillery, however, takes pride in creating an artisan spirit that has an amazing ‘mix-ability’ factor with a rich and pure honey finish that is powerfully complex.

Distiller’s Tasting Notes at the Still (81% alc./vol.):

The ‘Hearts’ cut begins with rich notes of butterscotch, cacao bean and caramel. The finish has a complex character of white chocolate.

In The Bottle (45% alc./vol.):

Clear. It has a complex bouquet of rich barley, bees wax and honeycomb with hints of clover. On the palate, it is instantly mouth-filling with a full-bodied honey and graham cracker character. At 45%, it has a powerful long finish with warm caramel nuances. A perfect base for coffee drinks, full-flavoured cocktails and delicious when sipped on its own.
